About the app

What is NestGuide?
An app to plan your baby's layette: it builds the list of items, calculates made-to-measure quantities by season/climate, logs purchases and spending, tracks the customs allowance for those who travel, and shows curated promotions.

Do I have to pay to use it?
No. There's a free plan with limits (number of purchases and categories). The Premium plan unlocks all categories and the smart quantities.

What languages is the app in?
English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The app follows your iPhone's language, and you can force another in Settings › Language.

Data and privacy

Where is my data stored?
In your private iCloud. Profile, purchases, and photos don't pass through our servers — we have no access to them. The only part that uses a server of ours is the Promotions tab, which is public content, with none of your data.

Do you sell my data? Are there ads?
No and no.

How do I delete my account and my data?
Settings › Delete account. This erases your profile and your purchases from iCloud and clears everything from the device. You can also simply delete the app.

Why does the app ask for my city?
To calculate clothing quantities by the season/climate of your region. It's the city you type — not the device's precise location.

Premium subscription

How do I subscribe / cancel?
The subscription is processed by Apple (App Store). You manage and cancel it in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. NestGuide has no access to your payment data.

Is there a free trial?
Yes — the trial period is shown at the time of purchase, before any charge.

I changed iPhones — did I lose Premium?
No. In Settings › Restore purchases, your subscription comes back.

How it works

Are the suggested quantities a fixed rule?
No — they're estimates to help you organize. Every baby is different. Use them as a reference, not an obligation.

Is the app's customs allowance official?
No — it's an estimate to help you organize. Always confirm the official rules of the customs authority before traveling.

Are the promotions guaranteed?
We don't control stores' prices or stock. Some links may earn us an affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you — researching and comparing is always your right.

I closed the app in the middle of onboarding — did I lose everything?
No. The app saves your progress and resumes where you left off.
